The Specialized Information Service for Geosciences (FID GEO) and the Geosciences Library of the Geological Institute GIA, RWTH Aachen University are organizing a workshop on the legal issues of open access publishing in the geosciences. In addition to the publication support of FID GEO, the focus of this event is on the legal requirements of publishing in the geosciences. Examples from publishers are presented and the possibilities and hurdles for young scientists are discussed. In addition to the academic audience, we also explicitly invite librarians and interested parties to this event. The event will be held in German, but explanatory texts in English will be provided on the slides.
