Programme see below.
At this event, the German Mineralogical Society (DMG) and the German Quaternary Association (DEUQUA) will share their experiences with flipping their journals to Open Access. In addition, other Open Access (business) models beyond the “article-processing-charge” model often used in the natural sciences will be presented and discussed. Also, the DFG and the FID GEO will present their options for supporting scientific societies in the Open Access transformation of their journals.
This event is aimed in particular at the members and the leadership of geoscientific societies who would like to inform themselves about the possibilities for the Open Access transformation of journals and exchange ideas. All other interested parties are welcome to attend as well.
